Trojan Rail, a division of Trojan Recruitment Group is URGENTLY seeking Experienced Rail Industry Welders (Multiple roles) with Railtech Welding Ticket for project based opportunities starting IMMEDIATELY.
THE ROLE
Working in teams, you will be performing a variety of tasks including track maintenance and construction. MUST have a CURRENT RIW (Rail Industry Worker Card / PEGASUS Card) and Railtech Tickets to be considered for these roles. Experienced with timber, concrete, steel sleeper tracks is essential. You will be required to work under electrified overhead lines in a metro railway environment with trains running on adjacent tracks.
Candidates that also possess current DG, RB/RI/RA, HR, MR, EWP, LL or LR tickets will be highly regarded.
REQUIREMENTS
- National Welding Competencies/Railtech ticket
- Working in Electrified Territory (WET) induction
- RIW (Rail Industry Worker Card) or PEGASUS Card (Required)
- Current driver’s license and reliable transport
- Be physically fit for performing manual labouring duties
- Proven experience working “on track”
- Good communication skills and is a team player
- Current resume with two recent and contactable work references
- Ability to undertake Drug and Alcohol testing when required
