San Remo is a leading pasta and food manufacturer providing high quality food products to domestic and overseas customers. The company remains wholly Australian owned
with our head office and main manufacturing plant based in Windsor Gardens SA. We are currently seeking intelligent, technically minded and self-motivated person keen to gain an apprenticeship as either a Mechanical Fitter or an Electrician.
The Apprenticeship
As an apprentice at San Remo you will be exposed to a wide range of tasks involving many different types of equipment including automated packaging and processing machines, ovens and dryers, chillers, boilers, robots, motors and gearboxes. The roles of both Fitter & Turner and Electrician are extremely diverse and no day is the same as the last. Working within our maintenance department you will support our operational areas by being involved in:
- Preventative maintenance
- Commissioning of new equipment
- Fabrication and installation projects
- Repairs and troubleshooting
To be successful in the role, you will have a real interest in the maintenance trade and have completed at least 2 years of either an Electrician or Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship.
