Programmed Skilled is a workforce services company. Our people are employed across a wide range of industries.

Our client is a rail industry company in the Chipping Norton area that specialises in the maintenance of freight trains and rolling stock. They require Boilermakers to work on the rolling stock of motor bogies of freight trains and locomotives. Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable but not essential.

To be considered for this role you must hold Australian trade qualifications as a Boilermaker.

RIW (RISI) card highly desirable but not essential.

The pay rate is $38.49 inclusive of casual loading.

The role is on day shift 38 hours/week Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a short day on Friday to 12:00 pm.

The successful applicant will be employed as a casual with a view to going permanent after a qualifying period.

As well as Boilermaker work there is a requirement for manual handling and lifting using an overhead remote control crane. Successful applicants must be able to provide Programmed Skilled with original copies of their work rights in Australia such as a valid passport, birth certificate, citizenship papers or work visa. Applicants who cannot provide original copies of these documents will not be considered for this role.

Please note that initial interviews will be held in our office in Werrington (near Kingswood).
