Are you an experience and fully qualified Light Vehicle or Truck Mechanic looking for the opportunity to break into, or expand upon your existing experience working on large mining mobile plant equipment? Or a experience HD Mechanic / Fitter looking for a new challenge, or wanting a break from FIFO work?

Our client is currently looking for applicants who have a strong background in rebuilds and overhauling engines and components, to work on earth moving repairs, maintenance, rebuilds and new builds. 

Current vacancies listed below:

Role 1
Position: Mechanic 
Role: Rebuilds, assemblies and disassembles of components
Location: Perth Airport
Roster: Monday to Friday, 10 hour per day - 2 weeks days 1 week afternoon 
Rate:

• LV Mechanic (with no previous earth moving exposure - $35.00 p/h
• Mechanical Fitter $38.00 p/h
• LV Mechanic (with strong previous earth moving experience) & Truck Mechanics $40.00 p/h
• HD Fitter - $42-45 depending on experience 

Duration: Ongoing with potential to go perm 
Requirement: Forklift and Dogging ticket (if do not hold will require before commencement)

Role 2
Position: Mechanic
Role: New Construction of mobile plant. This includes installation of fast fill services centers, emergency stops, battery & isolator starts, LED lighting, AM/FM radio etc. Repairs and servicing to wide range of machines, from skid steers, digger, dozer, grader and trucks of all sizes. 
Location: South Guildford
Roster: Monday to Friday – hours may vary between 10-12 hours per day, weekend work will also be available. May also be some requirement for nightshift.

• LV Mechanic (with no previous earth moving exposure - $35.00 p/h
• LV Mechanic (with strong previous earth moving experience) & Truck Mechanics $40.00 p/h
• HD Fitter - $42-45 depending on experience

Duration: 6 months – potential perm for right person
Requirements: Forklift and Dogging ticket (if do not hold will require before commencement)

Role 3
Position: Mechanic – Torque Converters 
Role: Working in Transmissions 
Location: South Guildford
Roster: Monday to Friday – 12 hour per day, 2 weeks day shift, and 1 week afternoon shift, 1 Saturday per month (5 hours)
Rates:

• LV Mechanic (with no previous earth moving exposure - $35.00 p/h
• LV Mechanic (with strong previous earth moving experience) & Truck Mechanics $40.00 p/h
• HD Fitter - $42 per hour 

Duration: Ongoing
Requirements: Forklift and Dogging ticket (if do not hold will require before commencement)

Role 4
Position: Mechanic – Hydraulics 
Role: Working in Earthmoving Hydraulics 
Location: South Guildford
Roster: Monday to Friday – 12 hour per day, 2 weeks day shift, and 2 weeks afternoon shift
Rates: $42.00-45.00 per hour depending on experience (Only HD qualified Mechanics considered for this role)

Duration: Ongoing
Requirements: Forklift and Dogging ticket (if do not hold will require before commencement)

Role 5
Position: Mechanic – Wheel Motor Bay
Role: Working in Electric Wheel Motor Bay 
Location: Perth Airport 
Roster: Monday to Friday – 10.5 hour per day (day shift only)

• LV Mechanic (with no previous earth moving exposure - $35.00 p/h
• LV Mechanic (with strong previous earth moving experience) & Truck Mechanics $40.00 p/h
• HD Fitter - $45 per hour 

Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend 
Requirements: Forklift and Dogging ticket (if do not hold will require before commencement)

Role 6
Position: Mechanic – Hydraulic Cylinders 
Role: Rebuilding ex Bucyrus & Terex Hydraulic Cylinders
Location: Perth Airport 
Roster: Monday to Friday – 10.5 hour per day - day shift only 
Rates:

• LV Mechanic (with no previous earth moving exposure - $35.00 p/h
• LV Mechanic (with strong previous earth moving experience) & Truck Mechanics $40.00 p/h
• HD Fitter - $42 per hour 

Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend 
Requirements: Forklift and Dogging ticket (if do not hold will require before commencement)

To be successful in all roles applicants must have:

• Australian recognised trade certificate
• Current drivers licence
• High Risk Forklift Ticket (If applicants do not hold current forklift or dogging they will need to attain this prior to commencement)
• Be able to pass a medical & drug/alcohol screen
