Versatile, experienced and multi-skilled operator required to run the Graphics Room at leading WA signage company. Full time role managing production using flatbed printer, roll to roll digital printer, vinyl plotter and laminator.
Must be highly competent in computer programmes Corel, Photoshop and RIP Rasterlink and able to set up files for printing.
Key responsibilities:
- A high degree of planning and organisation will be required to plan works efficiently and prioritise jobs. Vinyl know-how and weeding skills essential.
- Will need to ensure all safety and OSH aspects of the Graphics Room are managed proactively and effectively.
- Will be responsible for ordering stock items for vinyl/media/substrates and place orders for non-stock items.
- Will need to perform daily, weekly and regular maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is fully operational at all times and problem solve as and when required liaise with technical support company.
Usual hours of work: 8am – 4.30pm Mon-Fri. Based in modern factory & offices in Midvale.
This role will involve heavy lifting using safe lifting techniques. Candidate must have previous experience in a graphic room environment. Signage experience ESSENTIAL.
