About the role
We are seeking energetic and results driven Hydraulic Fitters to join our Hydraulic workshop team based at our state of the art facility in Tomato.
As the successful applicant you will be a motivated self-starter who takes initiative and pride in their work and have experience in the overhauling of surface and underground components including all types of cylinders, pumps, motors, valves and accumulators.
A high level of technical ability and proficiency with the overhaul and testing of hydraulic piston pumps/motors will be highly regarded.
Essential Criteria:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Experience overhauling all Hydraulic components
- Excellent interpersonal/teamwork and communication skills
- Dedicated commitment to Safety and Quality Assurance
- Ability to work competently unsupervised
- Nationally accredited high risk forklift ticket
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience overhauling/testing Hydraulic Piston pumps and motors
- NDT experience and accreditation
- Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
- Able to work overtime and/or extra shifts as required
- Basic computer literacy
- Nationally accredited high risk Dogman's ticket
