About The Role:
Our client, a successful foundry is currently seeking Disa Melt Furnace Operators for an ongoing casual role in Wingfield. You will be working with molten metal, therefore previous experience in a similar environment or a heavy industrial environment is essential. You will be working on either day or night shift, 4 days per week and undertaking 10-12 Hour shifts.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manually pouring pots of molten metal
- Manually leading cores to plant
- Operating plant and crane using controls
- Taking samples from the furnace/pots
- General clean-up of site
Essential criteria:
- Recent experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Team player
- Commitment to an ongoing role
- Not afraid of hard work and happy to work with heat
- Able to work long hours and stand for long periods
