AHG is currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our dynamic team at Western Pacific Autobody in Bassendean. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for performing panel repairs and maintenance as assigned.
  
This role includes the following duties:

• Removing upholstery and accessories to gain access
• Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
• Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels
• Cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment
• Assist vehicle body builders in constructing and restoring custom-designed, vintage and other specialty vehicles
• Remove minor dents by hammering panels (both in preparation for painting and as paint less repairs)
• Fill depressions with filler, sand back the surfaces
• Refit body hardware such as door locks and trims

  
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

• A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
• Trade Qualification
• Current Australian Driver’s License (manual)
• Excellent communication / interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail & excellent organisational skills
