We are Australia's largest privately owned housing maintenance company. Our clients include Public and Community Housing groups across the country.
We are looking to appoint a Team Leader – Plumbing on a permanent and full-time basis, with strong administrative and customer service skills to join our team based at North Plympton. In this fast paced role, you will be responsible for leading and managing our trade staff in the Plumbing team.
The Position
Key tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to -
- Providing day-to-day advice, guidance and supervision to the plumbing staff
- Plan and schedule jobs and tradespersons
- Forecast resource allocation to ensure emergency and scheduled work orders are completed
- Achieve KPIs in accordance with our contracts
- Ensure that work is issued and tracked per compliance/contract requirements.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with client standards and technical specifications
- Ensure works are completed to relevant Building Codes and Standards
- Conduct quality and WHS inspections as and when required
- Manage non conformances and customer call backs
- Order materials as required
- Complete all job paperwork on a daily basis, including pricing
- Deal with supplier, customer, subcontractor, trade and tenant enquiries, as required
About You
To be considered for this role you will have -
- Supervisor's Registration – Building Works – Plumbing & Gas Fitting.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role.
- Appropriate experience leading a team.
- Strong administration, customer service and oral and written communication skills.
- Capable of handling a high degree of work load and levels of complexity.
- Sound level of self-motivation and initiative.
- Organised approach to work including time management skills.
- Displays a professional approach and appearance at all times.
- Displays responsiveness and accountability.
- Good computer skills
- Strong work ethic
