VEEM is seeking the services of a Level 2 NDT inspector. If you currently work in NDT industry at this level, we need to talk. Your role is within our NATA accredited facility and involves compliance evaluation and certification of a wide variety of bespoke products. NATA test methods applied are DPI and MPI. UT inspection is also carried out for internal compliance monitoring.
VEEM is a high quality manufacturer employing over 150 people and operating out of modern manufacturing facilities in the southern suburbs of Perth.
VEEM manufactures products at the pointy end of the industry. Our products supply maritime, defence, transport, mining and heavy Industrial markets. VEEM manufactures its products utilizing various methods including foundry, fabrication and machining from wrought materials. All products are produced to exacting standards and certification. This role is working with an inspection team to deliver inspection outcomes in line with scheduled requirements. Key responsibilities
- Perform inspection activities to required test methods and acceptance standards within our NATA scope of accreditation
- Report findings and the degree of compliance
- Perform investigative assessment as required for non conforming items
- Integrate into a productive and successful team
- Help meet the ever changing needs of the production schedule to keep the customers happy
- Help us maintain a safe, happy and reliable work environment
Key attributes
- Level 2 DPI and MPI qualifications
- Honesty and integrity
- Have a good understanding of quality management systems and principles
- Understand the interpretation and application of manufacturing and NDT standards
- Proficient at technical report writing
