As a key member of TAFE Queensland Gold Coast's teaching and delivery team, you will support the delivery of quality learning services to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the delivery and assessment of learning in a range of environments including those of industry and online.
  • Developing flexible and blended learning options and products.
  • Fostering links with industry, school and university client groups.
  • Contributing to curriculum and training package development.
  • Moderation and evaluation of delivery content and assessment tools to meet quality requirements.
  • Effective communication and positive working relationships with teaching team members and students.

Success Factors to the role:

  1. Demonstrated capacity for best practice in the
    management of teaching and learning activities including delivery, assessment and evaluation.
  2. Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
  3. Works effectively as a team member, with demonstrated capacity for leadership and self management and an ability to accept, promote and manage change.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to professional and self development with a focus on qualifications/skills update and contemporary industry practices including safe, equitable and anti-discriminatory work practices.
  5. Uses well developed interpersonal and communication skills to deliver flexible, responsive and quality client services.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Cert III Marine Craft Construction (MEM30705) or equivalent
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a Diploma or Higher Level qualification in Adult Education or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment including units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being
    undertaken.

NOTE: Proof of qualification and industry currency/experience will be required at interview.
