Carey Civil Contractors incorporated in 1998 and is now a leader in the Victorian civil construction industry. The privately owned company provides a broad range of construction services for the private sector as well as Federal, State and Municipal Government departments and agencies.

Carey Civil Contractors is currently delivering works on Major Projects throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and have an exciting new position available in our company for anyone willing to be involved in some of the most high profile projects in Australia over the coming years.

APPLICANTS MUST POSSESS 

• Previous experience in a similar role 
• Current Drivers Licence (Truck Licence)
• Construction Industry OHS Card (red/white card)
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions whilst complying with safety requirements
• Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
• Ability to liaise with management and suppliers, and work as a part of a team
• Have a great work ethic, and a positive attitude
• An excellent attention to detail
• Basic administration skills
• An understanding of civil construction plant and equipment, small trucks and light vehicles
• Mechanically minded and an ability to undertake minor repairs and assist with servicing / maintenance / cleaning of machines
• An ability to operate machines for basic yard related tasks and activities

IDEALLY YOU WILL ALSO HAVE BUT WE CAN TRAIN:

• Excavator ticket / competency
• Rail Industry Worker Card
