THE ROLE
Based in Hume, you are a professional and experienced Workshop Supervisor responsible for managing a team of mechanics, including time allocation and apprentice training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading and motivating your team, including hands on practical involvement in the day to day workshop operations
- Ensuring the fleet is maintained to and in compliance with Company Fleet Management Standards, with an emphasis on safety
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Maintaining contact with regional and national fleet management and interaction with suppliers and contractors
THE CANDIDATE
- Trade qualified in the repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles
- A preferred minimum of 5 years' experience in vehicle / fleet maintenance
- Current HR licence desirable
- Exceptional people and communication skills
- Good product knowledge and a sound understanding of hydraulics
- Possess a customer service focus with a drive to exceed customer expectations
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
