Twin Loop Binding is a trade bindery located in Macquarie Park (NSW) easy walking distance from Macquarie Park and Macquarie University train stations (near Macquarie Shopping Centre). Onsite parking is also available if required. We've been operating for more than 25 years and pride ourselves with our level of customer service and quality.
We specialise in small to medium size binding runs and we're uniquely set up to accommodate the demands of the digital market. Our finishing services include: Perfect Binding (both EVA and PUR options), Twin Loop Wire Binding, Plastic Spiral Binding, Comb Binding Saddle and Loop Stitching and a Collating Service.
We're looking for an experienced bindery person (preferably someone with perfect binding and guillotining experience) that once established can develop and assist our management team. The ideal candidate will be committed to quality and meeting deadlines. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate experience in working with paper and experience with perfect binding, guillotining, wire binding and saddle stitching will also be helpful. It is essential for the applicant to be fluent in English as the role involves reading written instructions and following verbal directives and may also involve working independently amongst a small team. Previous experience in case binding and technical understanding in setting and maintaining equipment may also prove useful.
Key Responsibilities (will develop into)
- Operating Horizon BQ470 Perfect Binder.
- Operating Horizon SPF-200L Stitch and Fold machine.
- Operating Polar 115-EM Guillotine
The salary package will be presented in an offer of employment with the successful applicant. The trading hours for this position are between 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. (possibly 7:30am to 4:00pm). Extra hours will be offered during peak times including leading up to the December holidays.
