About the Role:
MPC Group are seeking Hazardous Area Electricians for multiple vacancies available on one of our project teams based in Queensland. To be successful in this role you must be proactive, self-motivated, safety focused and have the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ensure all work conducted is done in accordance within relevant regulations and industry accepted standards and Client Work Instructions
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and abide by safety requirements at all times
- Effectively contribute to the achievement of team goals and tasks
About You:
- Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanical License
- A Cert IV in Hazardous Area / EEHA
- Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
- A Cert IV or III in Electrical Instrumentation would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of operational high voltage substations and/or experience working with electricity utility will be highly regarded
- Construction Induction Card
- Current drivers licence
- 4WD certificate
- Experience working in Oil & Gas Industry (highly regarded)
- A very high regard for safety in the workplace
- Ability to work 19/9 roster
