About the business and the role
CMF Forklifts was established over 6 years ago where the business has continued to grow. We are located within the Central Highlands in Capella, QLD 4723. Due to this we are employing another Diesel Fitter / Mechanic to assist with our workload and increase our customer base.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The position involves completing repairs, breakdowns and servicing of light vehicles, machinery and forklifts. This role includes working as part of a team, as well as being able to work alone when needed. Employee must be reliable, punctual and willing to learn more about forklifts. Employee must ensure all tasks are completed at a high standard for our customers. Employee must follow OH&S Policies and procedures accordingly. Possible mine site work with occasional weekend work.
Skills and experience
We are looking for an experienced Mechanic. Experience with forklifts would be beneficial but not essential as long as employee is willing to learn. Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol testing regularly. Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical beneficial. Must have Drivers Licence. Must have own tools.
