About the Role
We have a number of significant projects in the infrastructure sector around the Sydney and ACT regions. As a result we require focused and skilled HV Technicians with prior experience working within the infrastructure sector. Responsibilities will include testing and commissioning of primary and secondary equipment, including protection relays, AC/DC control systems, switch gear, transformers, motors, generators, HV cables and SCADA control systems.

About the Role
We have a number of significant projects in the infrastructure sector around the Sydney and ACT regions. As a result we require focused and skilled HV Technicians with prior experience working within the infrastructure sector. Responsibilities will include testing and commissioning of primary and secondary equipment, including protection relays, AC/DC control systems, switch gear, transformers, motors, generators, HV cables and SCADA control systems.
To be considered for these roles you will need:
- Strong commitment to and understanding of HSE systems
- A NSW electrical licence
- Previous infrastructure experience (preferably on major roads and / or tunnels)
- Electrical engineering degree (preferred)
- 5+ Years experience in the High Voltage Industry
- Experience testing and commissioning - Protection Relays/Switchgear / Transformers/Motors/Cables/SCADA - IEC61850
- Experience operating Omicron Test Equipment - CMC356 / CPC100 / CT Analyser / Cibano / Franalyser /T D1
- Experience with Hi Pot/VLF/PI/IR/Ductor
- Competent in compiling test reports suitable for submission with ITR's
- CPR/LV Rescue, Working at Heights (WAH) and White Card
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
