Retail Ready Operations Australia (RROA), is the first Coles’ owned retail ready meat facility. Based at Erskine Park, our site is highly automated, sophisticated and equipped to global best practice. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring customers’ security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. Our facility is fully integrated into the Coles sourcing, production, and logistics and stores’ network.
As we build a truly world class operation, a new and exciting opportunity has been created for an enthusiastic Production Technician - Electricals to join our afternoon team. You will be expected to be available to work across a range of shifts to support our 24/7 operation.
About you
You will have the following skills and personal attributes:

- Strong verbal, communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent time management skills
- Reliable team player
Essential Criteria
- Must have Electricals License
- Trade Qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) - Ideally an Advanced Trade
- Ability to critically evaluate maintenance tasks and put improvements in place to ensure sustainability
- Understanding of safety systems such as LOTO, work permits, hazardous work
Desirable Attributes
- CMMS Software in MEX/MAXIMO/SAP (currently use of CMMS package)
- Experience in a vacuum packaging and automated handling equipment
- Exposure to lean principles, data analysis and execution of action plans
- Knowledge of food processing industry and food safety/ HACCP and GMP principles
- Experience in root cause analysis and asset optimisation
