About us and the role

Our established bakery is looking for a production manager who will take control of the day to day operation. The successful applicant will take ownership and be dedicated to the ongoing growth and development of the business.

Skills & experience

  • The right person must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • You must be hands on and passionate person.
  • You should have strong communication skills,
  • Capable of effectively leading a small dedicated team of bakers and
  • Able to manage a medium to high volume flow of baked products.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating the daily production schedule.
  • Overlook existing recipes and propose to senior management any suggested improvements.
  • Overlook and ensure a high quality production culture is always implemented.
  • Ensuring staff are working in accordance with OHS regulations
  • Managing ingredient supplies and ordering.
  • Must have good knowledge of HACCP procedures.
