Our client is a leading waste management company dealing with solid waste, liquids and industrial services. They are currently looking to expand their Ballarat team due to an increase in workflow.

They have a great focus on team culture and believe that attitude is everything. If you have a great attitude, are a hard worker and don’t mind helping the rest of the team where needed then this could be the right job for you!

We are currently looking for hard working Litter Pickers/labourers to assist Litter Picking around the site, plus general Labouring duties. The hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am-3pm with the potential for overtime. The pay rate is $28.08 per hour, with additional penalties in line with the Waste Management Award.  This position is a casual position starting as soon as possible, it is expected to finish in March but could be extended past this date.

To be considered for these roles, applicants must satisfy the following key selection criteria:

• Have previous experience in a laboring position
• Be physically fit and have great stamina
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty
• A strong stomach to deal with the various smells
• Have your own reliable transport
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Own PPE (safety boots, long sleeve hivis and long pants), all other PPE will be provided by site
• Flexibility to work overtime to support the business and changing workloads
• Be committed, motivated and reliable
