This Global Leader in the Material Handling industry is seeking a proactive, motivated and high performing Workshop Supervisor to join the team. This business is a global leader for a reason, they have the best and most reliable equipment.
As the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of high performing of twenty Technicians & Apprentices. Work in a modern workshop, you will be directly responsible for equipment attachments and new equipment delivers.
As Workshop Supervisor your responsibilities include:
- Develop schedules that maximise output and labour hours
- Determine labour requirements to ensure all planned work is financially viable for customers and the business
- Review, monitor and discuss any necessary changes with management regarding current KPI’s and workshop targets
- Lead and develop the team and create a high performance work environment
- Liaise directly with the Service Manager, Sales, Parts and Transport Coordinators
- Ensure a OHS focused culture
You need:
- Trade qualified and strong mechanical aptitude and experience
- Can work to deadlines and ensure your team achieves set targets
- Prior experience leading teams of at least ten in a busy workshop environment
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Ability to inspire, lead and motivate teams
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience
