We currently have a number of permanent positions on various rosters (including 4 on / 3 off and 7 on / 7 off) available in our North-East Region Field Service team for an experienced Field Service Mechanical Fitter.
Reporting to the Field Projects Manager, the primary responsibilities for this role will be providing service/maintenance support to our customers, ensuring optimum performance of Komatsu Mining equipment.
This role will involve customer interaction however it is primarily a hands-on role.
Skills & Experience:
- Trade or Engineering Qualification
- Credible knowledge (through work experience and training) of Loader products and/or Electric Shovels (please outline demonstrated knowledge and experience on your application);
- Previous experience in the mining industry or related heavy industry;
- Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical and engineering drawings;
- Demonstrated problem solving ability;
- Full understanding of Mine Site Safety and Environment protocols
