Fusion People have a major client in the electrical systems supporting rail infrastructure looking for several members to add to their team. 

We are currently seeking experienced Electricians/Electrical Test technicians looking to start immediately and join a busy team in Rydalmere. 

This role will include inspecting, testing, troubleshooting and repair of a variety of railway electrical equipment. Examples would be 1500 volt static inverters, VVVF speed controllers, Gas filled circuit breakers and sensitive control equipment including PCBS.

To be successful for this great opportunity you will need the following: 

- Tertiary qualification such as Electrical trades or diploma.

- Familiarity with testing of heavy electrical equipment. (HV testing preferred)

- English language comprehension and communication skills. 

- Basic electrical safety understanding and awareness. 

- Ability to read engineering drawings. 

- Ability to use appropriate tools. 

- At least three years’ experience in a medium/large manufacturing or maintenance organisation. 

- Appropriate level of physical fitness 

- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
