Our client is one of Australia’s largest suppliers of new and used machinery to the sheetmetal, engineering, recycling and plastics industries.

They sell, install and service a wide range of equipment, including CNC pressbrakes, laser cutting machines, turret punch presses, guillotines, CNC milling machines, lathes, plastic injection moulding machines, material shredders, recycling systems and much more.

They are looking for an Engineering (Mechanical Trade) Apprentice to join their highly successful team based in Dandenong.

Duties:
Working closely with our service manager and service technicians to learn what is required to install, maintain and service a wide range of CNC and conventional machine tools; including Pressbrakes, Laser Cutting Machines, CNC Milling Machines, Guillotines, Lathes, Bandsaws and more.

Part of this role will include general factory and workshop duties are required.

The role will include aspect of hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic operations, troubleshooting and repair.

Requirements:
Cert II in engineering is preferred

Tertiary qualified applicants need not apply as this is an apprenticeship (Cert III Engineering - Mechanical)
