About the opportunity
Due to growth we are seeking an energetic and team orientated Automotive Electrician’s to join our New Machines & Rebuilds team based at our Tomago Branch.
As the successful applicant you will be required to perform installations, repairs and inspections on a range of Caterpillar equipment in a fast paced work environment. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties in a customer focused manner. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed in a safety conscious environment.
What we’re looking for
- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
- Current ARC Air Conditioning Licence
- Dedicated to maintaining and promoting safe work practices
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Familiar with Caterpillar Equipment is highly desirable
- Proven experience in a similar role with mechanical aptitude is highly desirable
- High Voltage ticked and electric drive truck experience is highly desirable
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
