Aveo, a leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join the team at The Domain Country Club.
About the role:
Reporting to the Retirement Living Community Manager, you will be responsible for all day to day maintenance requirements assisting with grounds and gardens throughout the community to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others.
You will ensure resident's safety, security, dignity, privacy and well-being at all times, actively contribute to the promotion of best practice in OH &S and continuous quality improvement, and promote the culture and philosophies of Aveo Group communities.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous industry experience is highly desirable (retirement or hospitality);
- Current First Aid Certificate;
- Relevant trade qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Ability to supply a Police Check within 6 weeks;
- Ability to work autonomously;
- Honest, reliable and tolerant;
- A passion for resident satisfaction;
- Friendly and empathetic manner;
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
