TJM specialises in the development and distribution of 4WD and automotive equipment including bull bars, accessories and suspension throughout our Australian and global distribution network. We are currently seeking a talented 4WD Accessory Fitter to join our team in Brendale, North Brisbane.  This position will require you to fit TJM parts and accessories to 4WD vehicles and to assist with small fabrication of products.

Reporting directly to the Brendale Workshop Manager, this vital role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to join one of Australia's most respected automotive industry organisations in a position where they can really make a difference. 

Applicants will have great mechanical skills as well as have a sound knowledge of automotive fitting principles, auto electrics, small fabrication of products and possess a current driver's license.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Fitting of a very broad range of automotive aftermarket accessories to a wide range of both off road, recreational passenger and trade vehicles
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely manner and with the greatest respect to our customer's vehicles
• Working closely with our branch retail and fleet team to ensure that all work is carried out on time and to our customer's expectations 
• Helping the team achieve the stores customer satisfaction, revenue and profit targets

Ideally your skills and experience will include:

• Highly developed automotive workshop skills including an energetic and inspirational style
• Well developed automotive fitting and/or mechanical skills obtained in a workshop environment
• Ideally some auto electrical skills or experience 
• Ideally some product fabrication skills
• Great attention to detail - working on what in many cases will be the most expensive asset that our customers will buy
