Premier Proline is a leading manufacturer of quality truck mounted crane borers for use of utility providers and contractors throughout Australia. The organisation has established a reputation for quality and design flexibility combined with a tailored approach to meet the changing needs of its customers.
We are seeking an energetic and team orientated experienced Fitter based at our Woodville North plant. This is a full time permanent position and available for an immediate start.
You will be working on manufacture of crane bases, jibs, turrets, spare parts and general maintenance with hydraulic pipe bending and pipe installation; we will provide on-site training so that we continue to provide excellence, quality and consistency. You will report directly to the leading hand.
As the successful applicant you will be required to be part of a team in the Production Assembly Area. You will have a strong drive to succeed, be self-motivated, work well with others, and be promote a safety conscious environment.
Key requirements:
- Australian Trade Recognised Certificate III or IV - Fitter Qualification with a minimum of 3 years trade experience.
- Hydraulic experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Follow instructions with an attention to detail.
- Reliable, self motivated and can work in a workshop team with minimum supervision.
- Good OH&S awareness
- Good communication skills
- Forklift licence would be an advantage
- Work a 38hr, 4 day working week, 6.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday.
- Be available from time to time to work overtime on Friday.
