Engineering People are a staffing solution company specialising in the engineering and technical field.
Our class leading, Australian owned client is currently recruiting for a maintenance fitter to join their already established team. In this role you will be responsible for a mixture of changeovers, preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance on equipment.
The successful applicant will need a strong mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills. Training on GMP and HACCP will be provided by our client for candidates without this experience.
Our client will complete on the job training regarding their specialist equipment to bring you up to speed, most changeovers are completed in two person teams so you will have some one to guide you initially.
The role will be a rotating with one week on day shift and one week on afternoon shift but this may vary due to production needs.
