The role
The Site Coordinator role is responsible both periodic and remote relief and representing Sandvik in the execution of the service contract based on site in northern Queensland. When on site, this role is responsible for customer service, stock control, working with the maintenance/planning areas to achieve the performance and integrity of the equipment and providing technical advice on Sandvik Drills and other equipment.
When not on site, this role will be based in Milton and will be supporting the other sites around the country remotely with maintenance planning, customer service and technical advice on Sandvik Drills and other equipment along with providing support to other members of the team.
Areas of responsibility
- Coaching, motivating, training and evaluating customer maintenance support to accomplish the goals and objectives of the business.
- Managing the daily functions of the contract requirements.
- Developing direct customer relationships with client.
- Managing relevant resources in the market area to ensure an optimum balance between a high level of customer service satisfaction, and attainment of financial objectives.
- Enhance existing service contract revenues and margins by providing significant input into strategic plans for the continued expansion of the business.
- Managing the daily requirements and engage the relevant departments of the business to provide a high level of customer service satisfaction.
- Work on minimising risk and maintaining profitable service support.
Your profile
You will need strong experience in Sandvik Drills with a relevant trade qualification. Previous experience or understanding of maintenance planning and mining a must. You will need to pride yourself on your customer service skills and be flexible, motivated and show initiative along with confidence in providing technical advice to Sandvik employees and customer staff around fault finding and maintenance.
