We are currently seeking a maintenance person to join our team. This position is either a full time or part time role, based at our Sumner Park factory.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be to maintain machinery in good working order at all times, oversee machine performance, and to ensure that the maintenance is kept to OH & S standards and any additional duties as directed by the Production Manager. You will also be required to work in the factory, manufacturing signs.
To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:
- Trade qualifications as a Fitter
- Mechanical aptitude
- At least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment as a qualified maintenance fitter
- Metal work certification (desirable)
- Welding experience
- Hold a current drivers license
- Computer Literacy
- A methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
- To be able to work unsupervised and also as part of a team
- Strong and effective communication skills
