Mechanical Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic required
- Temp to Perm Position
- Western Suburbs Location
- Up to $100k for the right person
We currently have a rare and exciting opportunity available for a suitable and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs with hydraulic experience.
Working within an established company, your experience with large scale truck maintenance on late models will be second to none.
You would expect your daily tasks to include:
- Fitting hydraulic parts
- General servicing of company trucks
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
To be successful with this role, you will have:
- Mechanical/Diesel Fitter or Automotive/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic skills/qualification
- Experience with MIG Welding (highly desired)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Ability to fault find and think on your feet
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to work accurately and at speed
