2XM currently have immediate positions open for experienced Electrical Fitters to work at Wulkuraka depot on the New Generation Trains.
You will be working within the existing modification team working on the new passenger rolling stock fleet as they arrive into the depot.
The position will involve both Modification and retro work on a fleet of Rolling Stock.
To be suitable for this role you will have either Rail / Aviation, Heavy Industry, Civil Construction & Mining background and have been working in a hands on capacity in your chosen trade.
Trade qualified : Electrical Fitter / Mechanic / Electrician
Must have requirements:
· Previous experience working on Rolling Stock / Aviation / Heavy Industry / Civil Construction / Mining Sectors
· Strong problem solving skills
· Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical or electrical issues
· Ability to communicate in a professional manner
· Positive Attitude along with a strong safety focus
· Strong work ethic
· Honest, reliable & trustworthy
· Ability to work autonomously
· Happy to work shift work (Day / Night/ Afternoon/ Weekend shifts)
· Drivers Licence along with reliable transport
· Willing to undergo pre-employment medical testing
