Do you have expertise in the steel fabrication industry as a Boilermaker Fabricator /Welder ?
Are you an extremely organised individual with a detailed understanding of weld procedures and weld preparations?
Our client is a prominent South Australian company and is looking for someone to take charge and lead the way.
The Quality Checker role sees you contributing to the continuous improvement and delivery of dedicated quality procedures. This is a highly collaborative role which requires your prompt and resilient communication working with different levels of employees.
Responsibilities include :
- Read and interpret structural steel and engineering drawings
- Ensure weld preparations and procedures are correct
- Carry out dimensional checks post fabrication
- Ability to find solutions to achieve verification standards
Potential candidates will possess ;
- Boilermaker Welding Trade Qualification
- proven experience working in structural steel fabrication sector
- ability to read and interpret drawings to understand critical dimensions
- thorough understanding of weld procedures, weld requirements and preparations
- proven record of strong work history and able to prioritise tasks
