We are looking for a positive goal oriented team player to join our Repair Authorisation team based at St Leonards. This role will require the successful candidate to utilise vehicle technician training, knowledge and experience to provide assessment, authorisation and vetting of fleet repair authorisations and Toyota extra care claims.
Reporting to the Repair Authorisation Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide effective cost control on all fleet lease and managed vehicles
- Ensure all fleet leased and managed vehicles comply with all relevant legal, roadworthy, OH&S and TFM requirements
- Manage the status of vehicles off the road to ensure swift return into operation
- Manage vehicles awaiting quotes for repairs to minimise delays to ensure swift return into operation
- Process fleet invoices as directed (minimum 20 invoices per hour)
- Complete on average 90 calls per day (including Toyota Extra Care)
- Utilise negotiation and customer service skills when speaking to Extra Care customers in regards to information and rejected claims
- Qualified Automotive mechanical or electrical (essential)
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
- Strong literary, numeracy and data entry skills
- Able to work autonomously and be accountable for decisions
- Commercial vehicle experience an advantage
