Kempe Engineering is an firm which provides solutions to a range of industries within Australia.
We are seeking to employ a qualified Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to provide support to our manufacturing client in Campbellfield and enable production to meet their targets. Employees will be required to work on a fixed dayshift basis, with plenty of overtime available.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring our HSE and QA systems and procedures are adhered to and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensuring day to day delivery of high quality support to the Client.
- Inspecting, performing mechanical repairs, install and manufacture components to ensure optimal machine performance
- Ensuring Client Precision Maintenance procedures are followed
- Ensuring JSEA's are followed
- Working with operations to identify and resolve plant and equipment reliability improvement opportunities
- Pro-active rather than re-active engineering
- Minimise waste via "right first time" philosophy
- Responsible for ensuring achievement of Client maintenance KPI's
- Ensuring machine downtime is kept to a minimum
- Ensuring planned maintenance schedule (PM) is adhered to
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A Mechanical Trade Qualification with post trade qualifications
- A Minimum 2-3 years plus within a manufacturing environment
- A flexible and positive attitude
- Be a team player
- Drive to meet maintenance schedule requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and relevant information
- Sound knowledge of trade quality requirements
