DIC Australia, a leading manufacturer of quality inks and coatings for industry leaders in the printing and packaging sector, have an opportunity to recruit an experienced Customer Service Technician based at our Sydney site.
Based in Auburn, and reporting directly to the NSW Liquid Inks Technical Service Manager, you will be involved with all departments across the Auburn facility. As a member of the Australian technical team you will be involved in process control, local technical projects, colour matching, quality control and technical service activities.
You will need to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and possess the following skills / qualifications:
- Print Industry background and relevant experience essential
- Colour matching experience
- Ability to operate batch weighing equipment
- Accuracy in documentation of laboratory work
- Competency in the usage of laboratory and production equipment
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively, problem identity and solve, prioritise tasks and workload
- Conscientious and responsible approach to laboratory support work
- Ability to work to a high standard of speed and accuracy
- General computer skills including use of ERP system (SAP preferred) and standard Microsoft applications.
- Customer facing experience would be beneficial in this role.
