About the Role
Our growing Occupational Hygiene Team has an opening for a high performing professional with one to three years experience, looking to grow their career. The role will involve local and interstate work, as well as fly-in/fly-out work assignments to both onshore and offshore sites, as required.
Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:
- Field observations and risk assessments of biological, chemical, physical, ergonomic and psychosocial hazards;
- Occupational hygiene monitoring for biological, chemical and physical hazards;
- Producing high quality technical reports and;
- Actively contributing and assisting in our growth.
- 1 - 3 years of technical experience in occupational hygiene practice;
- Experience in conducting risk assessments;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing;
- Australian open manual driver's licence;
- The ability to travel (local and interstate) as required;
- Experience in the resources industry;
- Ability to work independently when needed; and
- Actively pursuing career development towards full AIOH membership.
- A tertiary qualification in occupational hygiene or related science discipline;
- Eligibility for provisional AIOH membership;
- Surface Ventilation Officer or Technician (registered sampler with the Department of Mines, Industry, Regulation and Safety)
- Noise Officer with Department of Mines, Industry, Regulation and Safety is desirable.
