The Opportunity
This Senior Analyst – Data Science is a hybrid technical and stakeholder management role which involves modelling; statistical, quantitative analytics; data exploration; visualisation and reporting.
This will include:
- Partnering with leaders across the business to drive business performance and create deep and actionable insights; telling a story from the numbers
- Solve business problems and identify opportunities, influence key decisions through your findings through statistical and quantitative analysis, data exploration, mining and modelling
- Create visualisation and reports in Tableau to add value to senior management as well as to their client portfolio
- Collaborate with engineers, tech specialists, sales, product owners and senior stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a STEM degree (can be Bachelor, Master or PhD)
- Extensive commercial experience working with complex, large and fast paced data sets
- Extensive experience with statistical and/or quantitative modelling as well as statistical packages
- Experience with visualisation and reporting tools such as Tableau
- Strong with scripting languages such as Python
- Experience with SQL
