Your new role:

Reporting to the Geosolutions Manager, you’ll have a hands-on technical role and will consult and interact with AAM clients, either from the office or on site, working within the wider Geosolutions team to ensure that quality solutions are delivered on time and on budget for AAM clients.

What you will do:

• Deployment, configuration and support of Latitude suite of products (Geocortex) and Geocirrus, AAM’s primary cloud-based Geospatial product
• Configure and support ESRI suite of products & consulting
• Product training for end users on a project by project basis
• Application testing, performance tuning, improvement, usability and automation testing on a project by project basis
• Technical writing including deployment and administration guides when required
• Server/network administration and troubleshooting
• Pre-sales demo preparation when required
• Travel as required around Australia and to New Zealand

What you’ll offer us:

Apart from being a self-starter and a team player you’ll also showcase the usual well-developed verbal and written communication skills, good time management, attention to detail, problem solving and an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

You’ll also demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Computing Science, Software Engineering or Geomatics Sciences (Database related and/or GIS or Spatial related additional training will be highly regarded)
• Substantial experience in enterprise IT environments, in particular Windows Server and Microsoft IIS
• Substantial experience with at least one of the following ESRI technologies: ArcGIS Server, Desktop, Portal, and AGOL
• Substantial experience with SQL, preferably Microsoft SQL Server and SQL spatial
• A well-developed understanding of Web technologies
• Exposure to VMWare management and configuration
• The skills required to conduct Geospatial training to customers
• Project management experience
