Lightning Box is a leading independent developer of slot games for the Online, Land-Based and Social Casino markets. If you have completed, or are about to complete, a Mathematics or Statistics degree and have a penchant for game mechanics, then this is the job for you. And if you are into slots, that’s a double bonus. We want to teach you to become one of the best Game Designers in the business.
Lightning Box is highly regarded in the casino games industry and this role represents an exciting opportunity to get into an extremely sought-after Game Designer/Product Specialist role.
In this role, you will
- Have access to Ex Aristocrat and IGT Game Designers with more than 20 years’ experience each.
- Develop formulas for new and interesting features.
- Turn spreadsheets and statistics into great games.
- Analyse and report on other games in the market.
- Ensure all games adhere to our highest production standards.
- Prepare submission documentation and QA games for highly regulated jurisdictions.
- Work alongside artists and programmers developing the latest in slot games.
- Have a unique opportunity to work in Online, Land-based and Social Casino verticals.
- Work with our clients from the European, USA and Australian markets.
- Work in our newly fitted out spacious waterfront office at Sydney’s King Street Wharf and brand new Barangaroo precinct.
You will need
- A Mathematics or Statistics degree, or due to complete this year.
- Excel Skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A keen interest in any type of gaming.
- Experience and interest in the casino gaming industry a distinct advantage.
- C++ knowledge an advantage.
