Our Company
Healthcare Logic is a unique, fully funded R&D company in the Healthcare sector based in the Gold Coast, QLD. We create hospital analytics solutions working in partnership with various health services and academic institutions. We are a small but motivated, high-performing team interested in improving access to and the management of hospital and health services.
Role
The successful candidate will participate in the design, development, testing and implementation of new BI applications under the direction of Healthcare Logic’s Manager of R&D, and in collaboration with clinical and managerial leaders from the hospital. You will learn how to develop applications in QlikView and other visualisation tools, manipulate data in SQL, solve complex healthcare challenges and manage business stakeholders. The early stages of this role may be challenging, but for the right person, this opportunity will give you the stage to shine and accelerate your career.
Prerequisites
The successful candidate will possess the following:

Minimum of a bachelor degree in mathematics, science or related fields

Strong numerical and communication skills
-
Interest in data science, data visualisation and solving complex problems

Attention to detail

Enthusiasm and drive
The following qualities are valued but not essential:

Masters level of education
-
Knowledge and understanding of Healthcare systems
-
Analytics experience preferably in the Healthcare industry

Experience with QlikView and SQL
-
Proficiency in R, python, matlab or a similar language

Experience in a professional services firm
