Opportunity to join a progressive boutique agency and manage a high rise portfolio
Your new company
Our client is a growing boutique agency located in the inner suburbs of the CBD who are looking to double in size over the next 12 months. This agency have seen their business flourish in a competitive market through their tailored approach and offering services that sets them apart. They have made use of latest technology systems and resources, which has been a key selling point for the business and received positively by their clients. With the business in a growth period, they are looking at bringing on an additional OC Manager to the team.
Your new role
You will manage a portfolio of high rise properties with the assistance of the Director who will run the AGM's and manage the budgets. Your duties will include the below:
- Looking after insurance matters
- Corresponding with key stakeholders such as owners, contractors, and other 3rd parties
- Organising the AGM, and sending out related notices, nominations etc
- Chairing Committee meetings
- Attending to the calling of any EGM
- Managing Committee issues, including calling of Committee Meetings and issuing Minutes of those meetings
- Advising owners on matters of Body Corporate law and procedure and
- Managing any dispute and resolutions that may arise
What you'll need to succeed
A hard work ethic with a personable approach that will allow you to settle in within a small team.
You will also require the following:
- Minimum 2 years industry experience is desirable
- Knowledge of the Owners Corporation Statutory Act
- Attention to detail & accuracy
- Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal
- Experience in attending VCAT
- Proven ability in chairing Owners Corporation meetings
- Experience with managing building defects
- Proven experience managing high end portfolios is desirable
- Current drivers license and vehicle is essential
