Your new company
Is a department of VIC State Government located in the Eastern Suburbs.
Your new role
As a 6 month secondment and reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the Business and Facilities Operations team including: Facilities management, projects, building, mail, print and purchasing
- Implementing process change within the department
- Contract management and ensuring contracts are adhering to service level agreements
- Overseeing projects and upgrades teams
- Extensive stakeholder management, both internal and external
- Implementation of a new agile workplace system and communications throughout the business
- Provide strong leadership and support to teams and staff
- Creating and presenting workshops to engage and educate staff and stakeholders for changes
- Management of daily operations of service providers
- Delivery of compliance and audits
- Drive change and new process development throughout the organisation
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be passionate and experienced about implementing change in a service environment
- An engaging and self-starting demeanour with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
- Ability to influence key decision makers and work collaboratively with all levels of staff
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience within Facilities Management, Business or Corporate Services and Project
- Demonstrated background in delivering change and implementing new processes
- Innovative thinking
- Inherent ability to think outside of the box
