Land Services SA entered into a 40 year contract with the State Government of South Australia on 12 October 2017.
This commercial arrangement engages Land Services SA to:
- Provide the land titling services previously provided by the South Australian Land Titles Office (LTO);
- Provide the valuation services previously provided by the South Australian State Valuation Office (SVO);
- Commercialise certain State information assets of the LTO, SVO and Land Boundaries Office (LBO), subject to rights for governmental use, existing contractual arrangements and future sub-licenses, and
- Innovate new products and services subject to State approval.
Property Valuers
Land Services SA is seeking Valuers from Graduate to Senior level to help progress a number of valuation based projects located within the Adelaide CBD. Successful candidates will be exposed to a variety of valuation activities across residential, commercial, industrial and rural sectors.
Skills specific to these roles include:
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Well-developed professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough understanding of valuation fundamentals
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise to meet tight timeframes
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively to a team
The roles offer a competitive salary, a positive working environment and growth opportunities. There are multiple positions that will be offered as 1 to 3 year contracts. A current driver's license is essential.
The roles present an ideal opportunity for candidates with either residential, specialist commercial/industrial or rural experience. Statutory (rating and taxing) valuation experience is not essential. Both API membership and CPV accreditation are desirable.
