An exciting opportunity has become available to join CRE Brokers, we are specialist business brokers, property agents and valuers dedicated to the hospitality, tourism and leisure sector. With established offices in Victoria, New South Wales,

Queensland and Tasmania, CRE Brokers' dynamic team of professionals are underpinned by three generations of experience in the sales and operation of tourism and hospitality businesses.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Book Keeper.

 

15 Hours a week

To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following minimum requirements:

  • Have a can do attitude and be willing to learn new skills
  • Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written
  • Experience in trust account and knowledge of legislation
  • Experience in the real estate industry

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Record Trust Cash Receipts and Payments
  • Prepare monthly financial statements that comply with accounting principles, trust laws, regulatory requirements and industry practice.
  • Complete trust records including financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, statement of cash flows and statement of trustee's equity
  • Ensure that financial recording processes of a trust are adequate and effective
  • Annual trust account audit
  • Payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, monthly IAS
  • Staff tracking
  • Invoice payments
  • Invoices inputting
  • GST BAS preparation
  • Work cover
  • Liaise with accountant
  • Finance reports to directors
  • Manage and implement budgets
  • Employment agreements
  • Policy and procedures
  • Weekly finance reports
  • Report directly to the directors
