The Client:
We currently require an experienced Operations Manager to join the team at fantastic Shopping Centre in Darwin. This is a unique opportunity for a senior candidate to lead and monitor all operations in the centre.

The Role:
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be an active player with the key decisions in the Centre. Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Ensuring compliance with OH&S
• Managing Contractors
• Coordinating minor works including tenancy fit outs & capital works
• Risk Management
• Resource Management avoiding any wastage e.g. water & electricity
• Developing & implementing sustainability initiatives 
• Provide monthly management reports 
• Tenancy Coordination 
• Develop business plans for organic growth 
• Ad hoc duties where required

The Successful Candidate:
To be successful in the role, you will have effective leadership skills and ability to build rapport with subordinates & suppliers. Previous experience in Retail property will be an essential, as will any experience in a trade (e.g. Electrician) be highly regarded.

It is essential that you are proactive & have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a passion or interest in sustainability. Strong budget skills and leadership qualities are required, as is the ability to work under pressure.
