The role:
We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to work within a key client account based in the Gold Coast. The Operations Manager will be responsible for focusing on all aspects of subcontractor management including systems, statutory requirements and overall subcontractor compliance.
Essentially you be responsible for the following:
- Providing day to day support to the operations team including the development, implementation and ongoing management of initiatives and actions stipulated in the contract;
- Working closely with the Contract Manager to establish building compliance work across the portfolio;
- Working closely with the Finance team to ensure that all financial aspects are accurate, timely and provide consistent information for the Client;
- Working closely with the in house maintenance team to ensure a reduction in works being carried out unnecessarily;
- Contributing to the preparation of budgets for all PPM and reactive costs;
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a building/facilities management environment scoping, tendering and documenting subcontracts and experience in providing written reports and recommendations;
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Property, Engineering, Project Management or similar discipline;
- Experience in a similar role within a hospital or critical environment would be advantageous;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency in desktop applications such as Microsoft Word , Outlook and Excel;
