Aveo, Australia's leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking an experienced, motivated and pro-active Retirement Living Community Assistant Manager for Aveo Lindsay Gardens located in Buderim, QLD.
About the role:
Reporting to the Retirement Living Community Manager, you will be required to provide management support to the village to create a happy, welcoming, caring and safe village community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the village, monitoring and reviewing village compliance in relation to the Retirement Villages Act; Body Corporate and Community Management Act; all Aveo policies and procedures; and overall financial management of the village.
Minimum role requirement:
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline;
- Previous experience as a Business/General Manager (desirable);
- Knowledge of Retirement Accreditation standards, processes and criteria(desirable);
- Demonstrated knowledge in relevant legislation;
- Budget development and management;
- Intermediate to Advanced user of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- High level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
