- Salary to $80,000 PKG (commensurate on experience)
As a growing personal injury firm with offices throughout NSW, VIC and the ACT, our client is known for securing the best possible results for it's clients and providing a supportive working environment for it's staff. At present, this firm have need for a talented Paralegal with significant plaintiff P.I experience to assist the team on a full-time basis working predominantly on Public Liability and CTP matters.
The role is open to "career" paralegals and Senior Legal Secretaries who have hands-on contact with files and are looking to take the step up. Law students will only be considered if they possess the necessary experience and have 3+ years left of their degree.
Duties will include:
- Opening new files;
- Responding to client enquiries;
- Liaising with clients, insurers and other parties;
- Diary and key-date management;
- Preparing and editing legal documents;
- Filing documents;
- Cost recovery;
- Ad hoc administration tasks as required.
About you:
- Minimum 2 years' plaintiff P.I experience at a Paralegal level;
- Methodical approach with a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Good computer skills; and a
- Friendly, team focused approach.
